Chocolate Chip Fudge Brownie Cookies

Here is a great shortcut for chewy-chocolatey-plain luscious cookies.  

I  use Duncan Hines Dark Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix - 19.8 ounce box   Most baking product companies now offer Gluten Free cake, brownie, muffin mixes, thus helping those with Gluten allergies.


Preheat Oven to 350 F.

1  large egg

1  1/3 stick of melted butter

1/2 cup of semi-sweet or 60% cocoa content chocolate chips - Optional

Mix all ingredients until all flour is blended.

Drop rounded teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheets, about 2 inches apart.   I make my cookies with teaspoons to make servings smaller, but you may want to use tablespoons if you want larger cookies.

Bake for 12 to 14 minutes - Keep checking the time so your cookies don't overbake.   Remember every oven is different.

Cool on wire racks.   Depending on size, it will yield anywhere from 4 to 6 dozen cookies.
