Cooking oil spritzers

If you want to control the amount of canola, olive, peanut, sesame seed, vegetable or other cooking oils you use, try Le Gourmet Chef's oil pump. You fill it up with your oil of choice or keep several for the different types of oils you use. They are easy to use and to clean. How many to get is up to your choice of oils.  Le Gourmet Chef has two types, the stainless steel look and the clear glass non-aerosol one.  Mine are the stainless steel construction and the cost: $10.00 plus tax.

The way it works is you fill the bottle 2/3 full, put in the pump with nozzle, screw on the cap. Then you pump up the lid to pressurize the contents and it is ready to use. It is amazing how much you can cut back in calories by using this spritzer and you use it over and over. And even better, you reduce your carbon footprint because you are not producing more garbage.

It can be used when cooking low fat meals, spraying your baking pans, spritzing your salad, etc.

This is a very useful item you can find at any outlet mall that has a Le Gourmet Chef store, which is where I got mine. If they are not located where you live, you can find them for sale on their website,

kitchencollection.com.
